Poll finds most Jewish Americans say Israel and Aipac fuel antisemitism
Summary
A poll commissioned by J Street and conducted by GBAO Strategies between 28 October and 3 November finds that a supermajority of Jewish Americans believe Israel and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (Aipac) are increasing antisemitism in the US. The poll found that 66 percent of Jewish voters say Aipac's campaign spending against candidates who criticise Israel increases antisemitism, 60 percent say Jewish organisations exploit antisemitism concerns to defend unpopular Israeli government policies, and 80 percent say Israel's actions in the occupied West Bank and Gaza are increasing antisemitism in the US.
