About ChordNews
One event can produce dozens of headlines. ChordNews brings reports about the same event together in one place, with a summary and a timeline showing what each outlet reported.
How it works
We collect articles from news websites’ RSS feeds, group reports about the same real-world event, and use AI to write a summary from those reports. Each timeline entry names the outlet and links to its original article. The original publishers do the reporting; ChordNews aggregates and summarises it.
Summaries are generated by AI and are not checked by a human editor. They can be wrong, incomplete, or miss context. Read the linked original reporting, especially before making a decision based on a story. ChordNews does not claim to independently verify an outlet’s reporting.
Sources and attribution
The timeline is the source list: it shows which outlet reported each claim and when. Pictures come from source feeds and belong to their respective publishers. Inclusion of a source does not imply endorsement. A summary may leave out a report that appears to concern a different event.
Updates and story history
When more reports arrive, the same article is updated. “First written” records its original publication on ChordNews; “updated” marks a revision, and “new coverage” means another outlet has joined the story. Links to earlier and later stories connect continuing events.
