Mass Effect 5 trailer leaks a day after EA shuts down BioWare

Summary

Electronic Arts shut down BioWare and canceled the studio's new Mass Effect game in development. A day later, a trailer apparently representing that game appeared on Reddit. The video includes "in-engine footage" and uses "pre-production assets," according to a message at the start of the video. It focuses on an ex-soldier in a conversation. TechRadar reports that an alleged former BioWare developer leaked the trailer, and that fans see it as a "Deadpool-style" move that could pressure EA into giving the cancelled project a second chance.
